Billy Travis, Sr.

Graveside services for Billy Travis, Sr., 72, of Lake Providence, LA were held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Travis Cemetery, in Lake Providence, LA, with Bro. Don Boyette officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. Billy was born January 21, 1950 and passed away on May 16, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thad and Mary Travis; brothers, Johnny Travis and Leroy Travis; sisters, Doris Lovell and Shelia Cook; grandson Jeffery Graham; and great granddaughter, Addison Graham.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Bonnie Travis of Lake Providence, LA; children, Kim Travis and husband, Jeremy Nolan of Lake Providence, LA, Thad Travis and wife, Shannon of Lake Providence, LA, and Billy “Beau” Travis, Jr. and wife, Catie of Lake Providence, LA; grandchildren, Travis Graham and wife, Mary, Tyson Nolan, Cassie Parker and husband, Dustin, Jessica Travis, Kelsie Travis, Rylee Travis, Isabella Travis, Emma Travis, and Trace Travis; great grandchildren, Eva Parker, Noah Graham, and Levi Graham; siblings, Bobby Joe Travis and wife, JoAnn, Bonnie Coburn and husband, C.B., Jimmy Travis and wife, Helen, Sharon Styron and husband, Eugene,  Dicky Travis and wife, Yevette, and Jackie Travis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Willie Green, Joey Moody, Greg Travis, Charles LeBrija, Charles Hope, and Nick Hale.

Visitation was 6:00PM-8:00PM Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove, LA.

In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made to Briarfield Academy’s Athletic Department.
