Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jo Whitstine, 90, of Rayville, LA were held 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Richland United Pentecostal Church, Holly Ridge, LA with Br. Dewayne Whittington officiating. Interment was in the Bethel Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Betty was born October 27, 1933 in Monroe, LA and passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Betty was a member of the Richland United Pentecostal Church. She is preceded in death her husband, Leo Whitstine; parents, John and Vercie White; son, Gary Whitstine; daughter-in-law, Laurie Whitstine; brothers, Clayton White, Herman White, and Clyde White; sisters, Pearl Nolan, Bobby Jean Ratliff, Shirley White, Cecelia Moore, and great granddaughter, Olivia Whitstine.
Survivors include her sons, Mark “Stan” Whitstine of Rayville, LA and Danny Whitstine of Rayville, LA; 8-grandchildren, 13-great grandchildren, and 1-great-great grandchild; sisters, Marie Yvonne Moore, Ada Rebecca Plunkett, and Linda Stockton; and brothers, John Willie White, Jr. and Randy Lee White.
Pallbearers were Jacob Whitstine, Josh Whitstine, Colby Whitstine, Nathan Whitstine, Randy Whitstine, and Wayne McMillan.
