Funeral services for Betty Jane Glass Davis Royals, 81 of Pearson, GA formerly of Baskin, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. David Shirley officiating. Interment was in the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA.

Mrs. Betty Jane was born July 20, 1942 to the late Purvis Delton Glass and the late Estelle Gaither Kirbo Glass. She passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA following a short unexpected illness.

She was preceded in death by her by her parents; husbands, Jimmy Davis, Sr. and Kirby Albert Royals; and siblings, William Glass and Ernestine McMahon.

Survivors include her children, Jimmy Ray Davis and wife, Vicki of Mangham, LA, Rachael Delaine Strickland and husband, Bryan of Douglas, GA, and Amanda Gabrielle Lozell of Pearson, GA; grandchildren, Tyler Ray Davis, Easton Kade Lozell, Everly Reign Lozell, and Taylor Alaine Brook Johns; sisters, Ida Bradshaw, Odell Smith, and Ruby Lee Glass all of Rayville, LA; brothers, Jimmy “Coonie” Glass of Shreveport, LA, John David Glass and Sammy Glass both of Mangham, LA, and Jessie Glass of Winnsboro, LA; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers was Daniel Glass, James Hines, Jamie Graham, and Kevin Glass.

Visitation was from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA.
