Beth (Grimshaw) Taylor

Funeral services for Beth Taylor, 72, of Rayville, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Dr. Eddie Wren and Dr. Eric Spencer officiating. Interment followed in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Beth was born May 27, 1949 in Richton, MS and passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in Rayville, LA after a lengthy illness.

Beth’s parents, Roy and Bessie Grimshaw owned and operated Baker’s Cafe. She retired from Conway Hospital after working 20 years there as a Medical Transcriptionist. After retiring she worked from her home as a Medical Transcriptionist. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Bessie Lee Baker Grimshaw; son, Billy Roy Taylor; cousin, John Heath; and her maternal grandmother, Miss Bessie Baker.

Survivors include her special cousins, Tom Heath and wife, Dora, Joe Heath and wife, Shirley H., and Roy Ray Heath; special cousin and caregiver, Janice Spencer; cousins, George Camp, Camille Adair, Rita McLemore, Kenny Harper, Teressa Aucoin, Hayley Spencer, Dr. Eric Spencer, Andie Hamilton, and Alan Pipes.; special friends, Tuleta Sasser, Glenda Stephenson, Tonya Wiggins, Amanda Prewitt, and Tonya Williams.

Pallbearers were Kenny Harper, Tom Heath, Chris Sasser, Dr. Eric Spencer, and Roy Ray Heath. Honorary pallbearers were Sonny Collom, Joe Heath, and John Sasser.
