Benjamin "Benny" Ables

Funeral services for Benjamin “Benny” Ables, 72, of Kilbourne, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 24, 2025, at Hill Baptist Church, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Leslie Yates officiating. Interment will follow to the Kilbourne Cemetery, in Kilbourne, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, in Oak Grove, LA.

Mr. Benny was born on November 9, 1952, in Lake Village, AR and passed away on January 20, 2025, in West Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his, parents, Archie and Inez Ables; brothers, John David Randall and wife, Gloria Jean, and Robert Randall; sister, Ellen Eubanks and husband, Brooks.   

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Joyce Ables of Kilbourne, LA; children, John Benjamin Ables and wife, Melynda of Vilonia, AR and Timothy Eulan Ables and wife, Sabrina of Pioneer, LA; grandchildren, Courtney, Jasper, Tyler, Zachary, Matthew, Gage, and Olivia; 1-great grandchild; brother, W. A. Randall; sister-in-law, Barbara Randall; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Karen McEntire of Oak Grove, LA; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Nancy McEntire of Arkansas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Chris Peacock, Jasper Ables, Gage Ables, Zachary Ables, Olivia Ables, Tyler Ables, Gary Haas.

Honorary pallbearers Paul Hays, Willie Aaron, and members of the Sunday School Class he taught.     

Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Hill Baptist Church, in Oak Grove, LA.
