Barrett Shea Gwin, Sr.

Funeral services for Barrett Shea Gwin, Sr., 44, of Rayville, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. William Waller officiating. Interment will be in the Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Barrett was born May 3, 1974 in West Monroe, LA and passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 in West Monroe, LA after a brief illness.

Barrett enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. He coached Dixie Youth Baseball for many years and participated with the Travel Baseball league.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Gwin of Rayville; daughters, Emily Blake Gwin and Erica Bailey Gwin both of Rayville; son, Barrett Shea Gwin, II of Rayville; stepsons, Tray Stampley and Bo Stampley both of Oak Grove; parents, Larry and Wanda Gwin of Rayville; sister, Buffie Renee` McSwain and husband, David of West Monroe; brother-in-law, Keith Ashcraft and wife, Beth of Fort Worth, TX; father and mother-in-law, Ronald Ashcraft and Daisy Ashcraft of Oak Grove; nieces and nephews, Jared Ashcraft, Juliet Ashcraft, Cassidy McSwain, and Caleb McSwain; great niece, Casey Marie Durham; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers are Caleb McSwain, Brad Crawford, Will Rushing, Mike Henson, Don Ishee, and Dee Hutson. Honorary pallbearers will be all employees of Goldman Equipment.

Visitation is 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
