Auzie J. Gorman McDonald

Funeral services for Auzie J. Gorman McDonald, 91, of Girard, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Edward Coon III, Bro. David McQueen, and Bro. Eddie Coon IV officiating. Interment followed in the Faustine Baptist Cemetery, Hampton, AR.

Mrs. Auzie was born January 9, 1929 in Jersey, AR and passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 in Oak Ridge, LA.

Mrs. Auzie was a long time member of the Church of Christ in Rayville, LA, where her husband ministered for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Tracy McDonald; daughter, Vickie Lynn McDonald Puderer; and her sister, Marise Gorman Haney.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Coon and husband, Edward Coon III, Ginger Eubanks and husband, Roy “R.A.” Eubanks, Shirley McQueen and husband, David McQueen, Patsy Prewitt and husband, Clarence “Buddy” Prewitt, and Donna Ellis and husband, Mike Ellis.

She is survived by 12-grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. She is survived by three sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Auzie will be interred in the Faustina Baptist Church Cemetery, Hampton, AR and laid to rest by her late husband, Harry T. McDonald.

Pallbearers were Ryan Breitenbach, Briar Prewitt, C.J. Prewitt, Daniel Grissom, Andrew McQueen, and Michael Ellis.
