Funeral services for Artie Lee Evans, 92, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Jason Madden and Bro. Dennis Kimball officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove.
Ms. Artie was born on May 18, 1929 in Pioneer, LA and passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 in Oak Grove, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, James William “Buddy” Evans; infant son; parents, Freeman and Carrie Kimball; great grandson, Ryan Swain; siblings, Lucille Burch, T.G. Kimball and Dollie Sawyer; son-in-law, Larry Ainsworth.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Ainsworth of Oak Grove, LA; granddaughters, Christy Swain and husband, Charles of Amity, AR, and Ki Eaton and husband, Paul of West Monroe, LA; great grandson, Blake Swain; great granddaughters, Bailey Eaton and Kamryn Eaton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Charles Swain, Paul Eaton, Blake Swain, Ricky Moore, Rick Moore, and B.J. Moore.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the funeral home.
