Funeral services for Annie Ruth Gray, 97, of Archibald, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the Cedar Baptist Church, Archibald, LA with Bro. William Waller officiating. Interment followed in the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Annie Ruth was born August 1, 1923 in Troy, N.C. and passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 in Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Annie Ruth was a member of Cedar Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Carl Gray; parents, Thomas and Belle Liles Roberts; great grandchildren, Ainsley and Emberly Gray; sisters, Bernice Moore, Jenny Hulin, Ester Rushing, and Helen Saucier; and her brothers, Delmar Roberts, John A. Roberts, and William Ray Roberts.
Survivors include her children, Steve Gray and wife, Betty Jo of Archibald, Brenda Shirley of Liddleville, Terry Gray and wife, Patsy of Archibald, and Keith Gray of Archibald; 12-grandchildren and 18-great grandchildren; and her numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Alan Shirley, Shane Gray, Chad Gray, Noah Cardin, Justin Gray, and Thomas Gray.
