Funeral services for Annette James Wilson, loving called “Rita Gayle” by her close loved ones, 60 of West Monroe, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 26, 2021 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. C.J. Beck officiating. Interment followed in the Greer Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Annette was born October 24, 1960 in Monroe, LA and passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Annette was employed for 22 years at the Cypress Street U-Pack-It Store. Her customers and staff were her second family. She never met a stranger, she always made friends. Mrs. Annette is preceded in death by her parents, Esther and Buddy James.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Arnold Leroy Wilson; daughter, Brandy Nichole Heyl and favorite son-in-law, Justin; granddaughter her pride and joy, Kenzie Marie Franklin aka Boo; sister, Penny J. Underwood; brother, Marvin James and wife, Natalie; several nieces and a nephew; and several great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Rusty and Donna Laborde, C.J. Beck, and Jason Kukal.

Pallbearers were Jason Kukal, Don Whorton, Garrett Whorton, James Delaney, Adam Murphy, and James Underwood. Honorary pallbearers were Danny McKnight, Larry Heyl, and Jason Heyl.
