Funeral services for Alvin W. Yeates, 60, of Oak Grove, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. Alvin Stowe officiating. Interment was in the McKnight Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA.

Alvin was born August 22, 1963 in Rayville, LA and passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023 in Oak Grove, LA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Helen Yeates and Brodis and Nora Nolan; and numerous uncles and aunts.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Hankins of Oak Grove, LA; son, Justin Yeates of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Savannah Yeates and Maggie Yeates; parents, Wayne and Mary Yeates; sister, Angie Clark and husband, William of Tchula, MS; nephews, Michael Clark and wife, Heather of Lexington, MS and Wayne Clark and wife, Brittany of Charleston, MS; 5-great nephews and a host of cousins; and his fur baby, Tiny.

Pallbearers were Trey Lytle, Eric Payne, Bobby Fulford, Jay Caraway, Marcus May, and B.J. Moore.
