Tessie Marie (Cochran) Medlin

Funeral services for Tessie Marie Medlin, 77, of Winnsboro, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA. Interment followed in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Tessie was born January 28, 1941 in Natchitoches, MS and passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Vidalia, LA.

Mrs. Tessie was a member of the Baptist faith and she loved to cook for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Gladys Cochran.

Survivors include her children, Rose Mary McVay and husband, Albert of Winnsboro, Richard Curry, Jr. of Rayville, Beverly Ann Curry of Crowville, and John Edward Curry of Amarillo, TX; 3-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Lee Story and husband, Edward of Amarillo, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Richard Williams, Terry Scott, Elijah Brass, Chris Thornton, Alex Ray Anderson, and Bruce Johnson.
