Memorial service for Richard Allen "Rickey" Pope, Jr., age 63, of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June14, 2018 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Bud O'Neal officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Oak Grove, LA.

Rickey was born on May 26, 1955 in Monroe, LA; and passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in Oak Grove, LA. He is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Lee Pope.

Survivors include his sons, Richard Dewayne Pope and wife, Jennifer of Forest, LA, Jesse Allen Pope of Forest, LA, and Warren Lee Cole of Goodwill, LA; father, Richard Pope, Sr. of Oak Grove, LA; sisters, Rhonda Pardon of Kilbourne, LA, and Wanda Spencer and husband, Brian of Oak Grove, LA; grandchildren, Richard Isaac Pope, Francis Jolene Pope, Remington Gauge Pope, Zachary Allen Pope, and Hunter Levi Pope; close cousin, Loli Johns of Minden, LA; a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.
