Opal Juanita Richardson

Funeral services for Opal Juanita Richardson, 89, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville with Bro. Daniel Goodman officiating. Interment followed in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Opal was born October 8, 1928 in Opeaka, OK and passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 in Rayville, LA after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Opal was a member of the Rayville Church of Christ. She loved her flowers and her family especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Richardson; sons, Jerry Don Richardson, Randy Richardson, and Tony Richardson; parents, William and Ruth Roberts; her siblings, Betty Harville, Geneva Stone, Rosetta Stone,  Doyle Roberts, Odell Roberts, Roy Roberts, and Henry Roberts.

Survivors include her daughters, Dianne Barnett of West Monroe, Kathy Murray and husband, Earl of West Monroe, Judy Brewer of Rayville, and Teresa Spencer and husband, Len of Rayville; sons, Larry Richardson and wife, Cathy of Girard, Bobby Dale Richardson and wife, Debbie of MN, and Gene Richardson and wife, Charlotte of Alvarado, TX; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tyler Richardson, Scott Herrington, Marcus Clago, Billy Boren, Michael Murray, and Daniel Murray. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.
