Linda Nell (Maxwell) Mayhall

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Nell Mayhall, 69, of Rayville, LA were held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Rayville, LA with Rev. Jeff Thomas and Rev. Sam L. Moore, III officiating. Interment followed in the Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Linda was born February 16, 1949 in Rayville, LA and passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Linda was an active member of the American Cancer Association and a Breast Cancer Survivor.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband of more than 53 years, Jerry Mayhall, Sr. and her three sons, Jerry Jr. of Monroe, LA, James (Sharon) of Brandon, MS, and Brad of Williamsburg, VA.  Also remaining to cherish her memory are her seven grandchildren, Bridgit (Wade) Murphy and Chelsea (Tyler) Higginbotham of Calhoun, LA, Sawyer (Dina) Mayhall of Rayville, LA, Shelby Cook of Monroe, LA, Alexis (Travis) Smith of Havelock, NC, Jonathan (Blair) Crowson and Weston (Cheyanne) Crowson of Brandon, MS.  She is also survived by her six great grandchildren, Elizabeth Murphy, Jack Macon, and Carter Higginbotham of Calhoun, LA, Tristin Mayhall of Rayville, LA, Evan and Raelynn Crowson of Brandon, MS.  Other survivors include her siblings, James C. Dove and Evva Lois Harris of Bastrop, LA, her aunt Ellie Jordan of Brownwood, TX along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. And she cherished the memory of her great grandson, Travis Mayhall.

Pallbearers were Kenny Bailes, Greg Burgess, Bendel Clack, Todd Hough, Alex Winstead, and James Winstead.
