Joseph “Joe” McKenzie, Jr., 68, of Geismar, LA was born December 23, 1950 in Rayville, LA and passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 in Geismar, LA.

Mr. Joe was a veteran with the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Calvin McKenzie, Sr. and Elva Juanita Woodward McKenzie; brothers, John McKenzie, Mack McKenzie, and Daniel McKenzie; and his sisters, Patricia Ann McKenzie Lee and Peggy McKenzie.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Brenda McKenzie of Geismar, LA; son, Daniel “Graham” McKenzie of Geismar, LA; sister, Jewel McKenzie Ray of Haughton, LA; mother-in-law, Annette Hutto of Quitman, MS; sisters-in-law, Rhonda Kennedy and husband, Wayne, Sandra Williams and husband, Robert, and Lisa Carney all of Quitman, MS.

A visitation will be held 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
