Funeral services for Joseph Freeland, 39, of Rayville, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Harmony Baptist Church, Delhi, LA with Bro. Russell Caldwell officiating. Interment followed in the Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Joseph was born January 10, 1980 in Delhi, LA and passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 in Rayville, LA after a lengthy illness.

Joseph is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Freeland; paternal grandparents, Louis Edward Freeland and Francis and Marie Clack; maternal grandparents, R.M. Malone and Virginia Malone; and his aunt, Virginia “DeDe” Malone.

Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Amanda Freeland of Rayville; children, Kaden Freeland, Logan Freeland, Adalynn McDow, Annalise Brakefield, and Audrey Freeland all of Rayville; father, William Freeland of Rayville; mother, Sherry Freeland of Baton Rouge; sister, Kerri Davis and husband, Randall of Prairieville, LA; nephews, Seth Davis, Lance Freeland, Conlan Freeland, Eli Lowrey, Huck Lowrey, and Ivan Lowrey; and his nieces, Evan Davis and Aleese Freeland;

Pallbearers were Shane Shah, Robert Hebert, Dustin Nolan, Craig Odom, Austin Mann, and Chris Jinks.
