Funeral service for Gary Dwight Bass, age 54, Lake Providence, LA; will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel, in Oak Grove, LA. with Bro. Kody Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Providence Memorial Cemetery in Lake Providence, LA. Under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Oak Grove, LA
Gary was born on October 6, 1963 in Monroe, LA; and passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 in Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Wanda Bass; nephew, Wade Bass; great nephew, Parker McKenzie Nevels.
Survivors include his sister, Joyce Charie Moore and husband, Ray of Monticello, LA; brother, James David Bass and wife, Teresa of Transylvania, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Danny Frith, Bruce Castilaw, James Bass Jr., Wayne Gunter, Ray Fairchild, and Charlie Lovell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the East Carroll Bass Club.
Visitation will be from 5-9 P.M. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the funeral home.
