Funeral services for Edward Lee Haley, 84, of Start, LA were held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel with William Haley officiating. Interment followed in the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Edward was born February 28, 1935 in Archibald, LA and passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 in Monroe, LA.

Mr. Edward was a veteran with the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his son, Danny Haley and parents, Guy and Ira Haley.

Survivors include his wife, Aurora Haley of Start; daughters, Claudia Ettesvold and husband, Andrew of Burnsville, MN and Maria Haley of Bastrop; grandchildren, Brittini Libby, Jacob Cullum, Zain Cullum, Kimberly Braizil, Adam Haley, Jason Ardwin, Tommy Lee, Jessica Cruz, and Barbie Lee; great grandchildren, Alex, Floyd, Brian, and Zackary Braizil; brother, William Haley; and his sister, Frances McLaurin.

Pallbearers were Kevin Haley, Scott Haley, Gregg Haley, Jacob Cullum, Zain Cullum, and Ronald Hays.
