Funeral services for Dorothy “Mama Pete” Greer, 78, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Bro. J.J. Holyfield officiating. Interment followed in the Greer Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Dorothy was born June 13, 1941 in Tallulah, LA and passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 in Rayville, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Clover Eppinette; granddaughter, Tammy Kay Greer; and special friend, Bertha Green.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Charles Greer of Rayville; children, Charles “PeeWee” Greer and wife, Cathy of Rayville, Debbie Davis and husband, Key of Vicksburg, MS, Danny Kay Greer and wife, Karen of Rayville, Alfred “AC” Greer of VA, Sara White and husband, Larry of Winnsboro, Lisa Stanton and husband, Mike of Marion, Larry Greer and wife, Renee of Rayville, Freddie Greer and wife, Tracy of Rayville, Kevin Greer and wife, Dana of Rayville, and Renee Matthews and husband, Brian of West Monroe; 32-grandchildren and 56-great grandchildren; brothers, Buddy Eppinette and wife, Jeanette of Baskin and Ed Eppinette and wife, Connie of Rayville; sister, Sue Allen of Rayville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were James Greer, Jamie Greer, Ken White, Justin Matthews, Jason Braddock, and Chris Stanton. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Greer and Jessie Greer.
