Funeral services for Donovan Michael Hayes will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel, in Oak Grove, LA. with Rev. Byron Lewis officiating.
Donovan Michael Hayes was born in Dallas, TX, on April 3, 1995, to Jeffrey and Sheila Hayes. He attended school at Centennial High School in Frisco, TX and graduated in June 2013. Donovan departed this life on December 22, 2018, in Denton, TX.
Donovan was a full-loving, kind and generous young man. He will be missed by so many family members, friends, and co-workers, as he leaves us with so many fond memories.
“Donnie” was preceded in death by Mrs. Betty Lou Whitney (Maternal Grandmother), Kerry Eugene Whitney (Uncle), Michael Ray Hayes (Uncle), Johnny Ray Hayes, Sr. (Paternal Grandfather), and Ida Mae Hayes (Paternal Grandmother).
His life will forever be cherished by his loving mother and father, Sheila R. Whitney Hayes and Jeffrey Jarone Hayes; Maternal Grandfather: Charles Eugene Whitney (Renn); Brother: Jeffrey J. Pritchard (Erica); Sisters: Whitney Renee Collum and Carmen Renee Hayes; Uncles: Johnny, Donald, James, Billy, and Chris (Marla); Aunts: Linda (Carl), Tricia, Dee-Dee, and Hazel; Nieces and Nephews: Madison, JJ, Layton, and Eliana; and numerous cousins, friends, and special loved ones. We extend a special acknowledgment to the following people whom Donovan loved and who loved him dearly: Brenda “BJ”, Lauryn, Karli, and Zac.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Pritchard, Joe Hayes, Trey James, Daniel "Buddy" Burrell, AJ Wilson and Zac Humbert.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny R. Hayes, Jr., Donald R. Hayes, James Mathis Hayes, Chris Whitney and Billy R. Hayes.
The family would like to thank everyone for all of their kind words, generous donations, prayers, phone calls, texts and expressions of love.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. Friday, December 28, 2018 at the funeral home.
