Graveside services for Davie Lee Day, 88, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA with Bro. Henry Hutson officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mr. Davie was born September 20, 1930 and passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 in Monroe, LA.

Mr. Davie is preceded in death by his sons, Paul Day and Mark Day; his parents, Robert and Carrie Smith Day; and stepmother, Allene Respond Day. He was an avid jogger and runner.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Sue Day; daughters, Wendy Montgomery and husband, Robert, Donna Henson and fiancé, John Young, and Adriana Molano; son, Todd Day; grandchildren, Emilie Montgomery, Christian Beevers, Garrett Montgomery, Shelby Beevers, Guiliana Jenkins, and Vincent Jenkins; sisters, Emma Lou, Claira, and Maryann; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Christian Beevers, Garrett Montgomery, Darrell Hutson, Ron Dickson, John Young, and Kale Guillot
