Graveside services for David D. Byrd, 70, of Rayville, LA were held 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 28, 2018 at NE LA Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA with Bro, Stacy Thomas officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Byrd was born May 27, 1948 in Delhi, LA and passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 in Monroe, LA.

Survivors include his sons, Chad Byrd and wife, Kim of Alexandria, AL and Paul Byrd of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Darian Byrd, Caleb Byrd, Tiffani Byrd, Naomi Byrd, and Krysten Byrd; 1 great grandson; siblings, Patricia Ann Love and husband, Henry of Choctaw, OK, Anita “Cookie” Vining of Forest City, NC, Richard A. Byrd and wife, Tammye of Start, LA, William “Doug” Byrd of Raleigh, NC, and Michael Cason Byrd of Rayville, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers were Charles Bryan, Doug Foy, Wade Darnell, Paul Allen, Thad Townsend, and Conner Thomas.

Honorary Pallbearers were Will Dove and Gary Weatherly.
