Charles E. Brantley

Funeral services for Charles E. Brantley, 81, of Pioneer, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 14, 2018 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, in Epps, LA with Bro. Todd Perry officiating. Interment will follow to Brantley Cemetery, in Pioneer, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove.

Mr. Charles was born April 2, 1937 in Curtis, AR. and passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in West Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Corine Brantley; siblings, Peggy Johnson, Kenneth Brantley, Wayne Brantley, and Sarah Claudine Brantley.  

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Evelyn Brantley of Pioneer, LA; children, Karen B. Chrisman and husband, Greg of Downsville, LA, Brenda B. Smith and husband, Keith of Darnell, LA, Johnny McMillan and wife, Regena of Monroe, LA, Tammy B. Mobley of Chapel Hill, TENN; grandchildren, Courtney Fallin and husband, Dusty, Dusty McMillan, Ashton Wallingsford and husband, Logan, Christian Smith and wife, Lexy, Taylor Mobley, Tamara Mobley, Landon Chrisman, and Carson Smith; great grandchildren, Caden Fallin, Raylee Fallin, Addie Smith, and Zayne Wallingsford; siblings, Maxine Osborn and husband, Joe, Katie Boyd, Elizabeth “Betty” Ingram, and Bobby Brantley; sister-in-law, Adonna Brantley; A host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Wayne Brantley, Jr., John Pitman, David McGee, Steven McGee, Brant Ingram and Perry Brantley.

Honorary Pallbearers are Charles Lee Johnson, Ronnie Boyd, James "Smokey" Osborn and Mark Dollar.

Visitation will be from 5:30 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the church.
