Mr. Bobby was born on October 21, 1945 in Dermott, AR. and passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in West Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his son, Joey William McKan; daughter, Shelia Dianne McKan; and parents, Jeral D. and Ruby McKan.

Survivors include his sons, Bobby Junior McKan, Jr. of Minden, LA. and Bobby Christopher "Chris" McKan of Oak Grove, LA; 7-grandchildren; 1-great granddaughter; brother, Larry Kilpatrick of Hot springs, AR; and ex-wife, Ellen McKan.
