Graveside services for Betty Joan Jeselink Pyles Stewart, 87, of Holly Ridge, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Bethel Cemetery, Holly Ridge, LA with Bro. Anthony Stewart officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Visitation will be held 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Betty was born April 22, 1932 in Mangham, LA and passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at Deerfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Delhi, LA.

Mrs. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Birdie Finkley Jeselink; husbands, Norman Pyles Sr. and W.E. Stewart; son, Norman Pyles Jr. and wife, Lana; stepdaughter, Faye Stillings; siblings, Marge Bryan and husband, Bennon, Bobbie Crawford and husband, Willie, Egbert “Pete” Massey and wife, Lou, Jerry Jeselink, Billy Jeselink, and Harold Dean Jeselink; and sister-in-law, Glenda Jeselink.

Survivors include her children, Margie Charrier of Holly Ridge, Johnny Pyles and wife, Dianne of Montgomery, TX, Sammy Pyles and wife, Linda of Delhi, Marvin Pyles and wife, Tess of Hampton, SC; stepchildren, Gene Stewart and wife, D’Juana of Rayville and Elizabeth Smith; siblings, James Jeselink and wife, Glenda of Winnsboro, and Eddie Ray Jeselink and wife, Tiny of Farmerville; sisters-in-law, Pat Jeselink and Louise Jeselink; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
