Graveside services for Agnes Gordon, age 86, of Epps, LA; will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Epps Cemetery in Epps, LA; with Bro. Pat Lofton and Bro. Jerry Stanfield officiating. Under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Oak Grove, LA.
Ms. Agnes was born on June 27, 1931 in Epps, LA; and passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in Thibodaux, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Gordon; parents, Charlie and Emma Hale; 4-sisters, Mildred Stanfield; Myrtle Welch, Debbie Southern, and Ruby Linsclum; 2-brothers, W.T. Hale and R.W. Hale.
Survivors include her 5-daughters, Loretta Aullen of Houma, LA, Rhonda Prine and husband, Russell of Pioneer, LA, Marilyn Carpentar and husband, Terry of Citronelle, AL, Shelia Cockerham and husband, Bill of Houma, LA, and Janice Rhymes and husband, Pete of Galveston, TX; 1-son, Thomas Hales Gordon and wife, Kelley of Houma, LA; 1-sister, Marie Coburn; 4-step children; 13-grandchildren; 20-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
